your obligations

If you currently have the capacity to work, then you must (in cooperation with your employer and the insurance agent) make reasonable efforts to return to suitable employment.

If you refuse a reasonable offer of suitable employment, your workers compensation payments may be suspended or reduced.

If your employer has indicated they’re unable to offer suitable employment, you should contact the insurance agent and tell them. The insurance agent will liaise with you and your employer to identify an appropriate strategy to facilitate a return to some type of suitable employment. This may involve engaging with a rehabilitation provider. You must take all reasonable steps to participate in this process.
